Beckley-Mt. Hope Airport

Jack Clemens, 93, of Beckley, reads the history of the Beckley-Mt. Hope airport during a ceremony to dedicate memorial signage of the airport that was located near Beckley Plaza from 1937 to 1952. The signs can be view on 169 Industrial Drive. Clemens learned how to fly there in 1946 when he was 16 years old
