Lewis Street resident Ramya Kumar is all smiles as she keeps her boyfriend, Nick Godbole, from falling on the slick roads Thursday afternoon. Walking was much safer than driving around town after Wednesday's snowstorm dumped over a foot on the Beckley area and left many of the roads in terrible condition.
