This residence on Goldcrest Drive can consider itself well protected thanks to a massive snow fort built by (right to left) Caleb Dingus, 17, Christopher Dingus, 11, Jeffrey Whittaker, 17, Colin Dingus, 15, Will Whittaker, 16, and Talon Harfor (inside fort), 8. Another architect of the fort unphotographed was Carlton Dingus, 14. With all the snow left by Wednesday night's storm, the group had all they needed to build the perfect fort, although they were still debating about adding a guard tower or two. The structure will provide the kids with both a perfect position for snowball ambushes on unsuspecting neighbors and a good fallback point, should those neighbors come back with their own snowball onslaught.
