One of the major items community officials and residents discussed was the potential re-naming of the entire project from one that focuses not just on the town of Sophia, but the entire area stretching from Interstate 77 at Exit 42 down to Sophia, which includes the communities of MacArthur and Crab Orchard. Barr stressed that the well-being of those neighboring unincorporated communities are just as vital to the well-being of Sophia and vice versa.
