82-year-old quilter Sadie Handyside shows some of her favorite work in the front yard of her High Circle Drive home near Oak Hill Friday afternoon. After 35 years of quilting, she got more finished pieces than she can count. Many of her quilts and other textile art works are already scattered around the country, given to friends and family as gifts. That's her goal, she says. She's constantly creating new pieces not only because she loves the hobby, but also wants her works to be with her friends and family when she's gone.
