Milburn Pack celebrated is 90th birthday with his veteran friends at Ryan's Restaurant on Eisenhower Drive in Beckley. Pack served in the US Marine Corps from 1941-1944 during World War ll. He was a riffle expert and trained new recuits. He was on the USS Shangri-LA for 14 months and earned two battle stars in Japan and Okinawa. He's been married to his wife, Margaret "Peg" Pack for 48 years and has two children, his son Grover Fredrick and daughter Brenda Gay Givens.
