A pedestrian soldiers through another burst of strong wind and snow as she makes her way up Neville Street towards the Raleigh County Courthouse in more whiteout conditions Wednesday afternoon in Beckley. With sidewalks only cleared off in a few places, the best footing was often in the road, meaning drivers had to take extra care to keep an eye out for them as their vehicles "skated" around the area's slippery roadways.
