Area residents mingle and relax on a nice afternoon at Word Park in uptown Beckley as the gospel group Heaven's Harmony performs under the gazebo during the season's first Friday in the Park yesterday. The 25th season of the local event kicked off with Coal City Elementary's choir prior to Heaven's Harmony's performance, with Patricia Smith from Abundance of Blessings Music slated to perform next week.
