Chad Minor holds on to a rope to keep from slipping off as he carefully removes snow from the roof of a Stanaford Road residence with help of Lee Dawson, who holds the rope for him Sunday afternoon. Sunday's sunny weather was great for melting off a portion of thew weekend's snow, but it also made remaining snow heavy and burdensome on the roofs of many homes, creating a need to remove it if possible.
