Haleigh Deck, pre-school student at Raleigh County Head Start, blows on a pinwheels during a program held in front of the Mayors office on South Kanawha Street. Rob Rappold, the Mayor of Beckley, proclaimed April Child Abuse Prevention Month for the City of Beckley. Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center organized the 5th Annual Plant a Pinwheel for Prevention event on the Mayor’s lawn. Over 30 children from the Raleigh County Head Start Center came and helped the Mayor and two Deputies from the Sheriff’s Dept. plant pinwheels.
