Read More(Brad Davis/The Register-Herald) Smoke continues to rise from what remains of the former Yesterday's Night Club along Route 19 (Ritter Drive) near Tank Branch Road after an early morning fire gutted the structure Sunday in Glen Morgan. The 9-alarm fire started at around 1:00 a.m., with firefighters from Mabscott, Lester, Coal City, Ghent, Beaver, Coal River, Sophia, Trap Hill and Bradley Prosperity Fire Departments responding to put out the blaze. Route 19 was completely closed to traffic for several hours until around 8:30 a.m. while power and phone lines were knocked out by the flames, forcing any 911 calls in Raleigh County to be routed through Fayette County for some time until the lines were repaired. Authorities said no one was inside the building when the fire started and no injuries were reported. Fire Marshals hae been called in to investigate.
