Guest speaker Alfred "Mack" Skaggs, Lt. Colonel U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, spoke during a brief Veterans Day ceremony held at the American Legion Post 32 on South Kanawha Street. Skaggs was name the Grand Marshall for the the parade that was cancelled.
