Jeanne Brenneman was one of many visitors to Lewisburg's Ginkgo Tree Wednesday as its leaves began to fall. The tree is one of the last to change color and typically sheds its leaves after the first frost, and they fall within a few hours. The estimated 140-year-old tree is the oldest Ginkgo Tree in West Virginia and visitors look forward to watching the leaves form a golden halo around the base every year.
